At Trackers Earth, our mission is to get your kids into nature by meeting at convenient locations close to you, then transporting kids into the best parks and green spaces.
This year we have added one new location, and return to three more of our old favorites! Plus, after camp is now available in all our satellite sites. Read on to learn more about our Summer 2018 Drop-Off sites.
Oakland – McCrea Memorial Park – Grade 1 – Grade 9
This year, we are excited to announce a new drop-off location in Oakland: McCrea Park, near the intersection of Highways 13 and 580. This wooded park is located adjacent to the Oakland Casting Ponds and is walking distance from Leona Heights park. Fishing rod casting practice in after camp, anyone?
Walnut Creek – Rudgear Park – Grade 1 – Grade 9
For our third year, we return to Rudgear Park in Walnut Creek. Conveniently located next to 680, this park offers easy walking access to Sugarloaf Ridge Open Space. Look for us under the ancient shady oak trees.
Berkeley Marina – Shorebird Park – Age 4 – Grade 9
Our original Bay Area home in 2011, we returned to the Berkeley Marina last year and will once again meet students there in 2018. Parents love the convenient and ample parking, and kids love exploring the shoreline next to the field.
South Berkeley HQ – the Guild Hall – Age 4 – Grade 10
And of course, we can’t forget our headquarters. The Guild Hall, as we call it, is inside an historic Berkeley City Landmarked building. Our location across the street from Ashby BART makes public transit an easy option for families.
Overnight Expeditions – Grade 6 – Grade 9
Ready for real adventure? Trackers Overnight Expeditions really go all over: Choose from trips exploring Sequoia National Park, Big Basin Redwoods, Pinnacles National Park, Point Reyes National Seashore, the Dardanelles Wilderness, and much more.
